The light effect is spectacular in a subdued atmosphere. The bubble chair gets sexed up by Insa in this collaboration with Rousseau. Light sensitive material forms the graphic structure.

A 60’s Eero Aarnio creation. The whole thing is a contemporary twist on a retro classic.

Reset Cups

I really like the Reset Cup, I’ll buy them even! Three porcelain cups shaped like the Ctrl Alt Del keys of a keyboard, keys that are typically used to reboot or log onto a Windows workstation.

These are designed in Taiwan from MOD Design and is showcased at the Maison et Object in France. The awesome black and white design give it style. These are perfect for taking a coffee break or maybe hot soups during cold rainy days. It could the perfect gift for your geeky, caffeine addicted friends, too.

Powerwise charge station

Minimalist, simple and well thought out, we liked the console “powerWISE” which also acts as “central recharge gadgets” created by designer Johanna Strand.

The charge station Powerwise lowers energy consumption, reduces standby times and diminishes the risk of fires. It also keeps all your chargers in one place and frees your walls and floors from untidy and unsightly tangled cords and plastic gadgets. Collaboration with Åsa Elmstam, 2008

Fruit Bowl

After Corbeille, here we are with a new tray for fruit:Fruit Bowl. It’s a bowl of wooden fan-shaped.

When you don’t need it it’s in folded position, its compact so you can put it everywhere. When you need it just deploy it, like a fan, and you get an original fruit tray.

A funny way to serve fruit with an original tray designed by Bleijh design studio.

Tea Code

Designed by the the good guys of Gazin Create this is smart, smart and very good looking.

Why twice smart? Well, for one it’s a pretty smart idea to add a silicone button - coming with three colors - to the china that allows you to attach your tea bag – if you fancy the broken leaf that is. Secondly, it’s also pretty smart that the cup has two layers, it allows the heat to dissipate a lot better than on a single walled cup, eliminating the need for a handle.

Four different models are available, 2 short and 2 tall; the difference is clearly the shape: Do you prefer it convex (rounded) or concave (flared).

Vertebrae Bathroom Design

Vertebrae bathroom is a vertical bathroom. Around a fixed axis there are seven elements which move easily: toilet, sink, shelves and even a shower.

The main advantage of this package is its compactness since once all elements retreated, it’s very reduced. The only false note in this very ingenious system is its prohibitive price (20,000 euros).

This bathroom will perhaps save you space, but not your money for sure!
